I began working with Flash 4 in 1999 and realized that my affinity for it was based in part in how I am wired, so to speak. When I wore the hat of owner / audio engineer / songwriter during the eighties and nineties at Star Castle Recording I enjoyed both the technical and creative aspect of making a song. It occurred to me awhile back that what I do now is not so far removed. The right and left side of your brain kick in and, in my case, create and program Flash & Flex pieces. These can be employed in a variety of ways, e.g., Web content, games, e-learning, rapid prototypes, marketing. Imagination and a practiced hand bring these pieces to fruition. Flash gives free reign to both halves of the brain and is the perfect tool for yours truly who's brain is neither all one or the other.
